From he was a medical student at Medical College of Georgia. As a registered nurse, she worked at a local hospital on the pulmonary floor for several years. She has worked in a local level 1 trauma emergency center, both as a registered nurse and in internal medicine and pediatrics as a nurse practitioner. Vineville Internal Medicine was founded in July, by Dr. Mary Bell Vaughn to address both the physical and psychological well being of each patient. She enjoys traveling to the beach, reading, doing yardwork, and tailgating for football games. She has developed a broad range of skills working at an Urgent Care Center where she focused on genitourinary, ENT, gastrointestinal, dermatology, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, immunologic, and respiratory issues. She writes articles and gives lectures on current health issues throughout Central Georgia.

Cherrice participates in community health projects and conferences which have become an important service to the health and well-being of the total community. She completed her under-graduate education at the University of the South, Sewanee in Tennessee. Prior to ing VIM, Ashley has experience as a nurse practitioner in Occupational Medicine and treatment of work-related injuries.
Ashley is a native of Middle Georgia. Vaughn is a lifelong Georgia resident, and was raised in Atlanta.
